MEGHAN MARKLE’s latest alleged decision has made the Queen “not very happy” as she is “very much a person of tradition”, royal commentator Neil Sean has claimed.

Meghan Markle has spoken out about her attempts to adopt an animal-free diet in the past. According to a palace insider, who was quoted in the Sun, Meghan wants to pass on this diet to her son. Commenting on the reports on Nine News, royal commentator, Neil Sean claimed the Queen is “not very happy” about the alleged decision.

He told Today Extra: “Basically the story here is that Meghan apparently wants to raise baby Archie as a vegan. Right, nothing wrong with that.

“But the Queen as you know, as you can imagine, is very much a person of tradition, likes traditional meals.

“Allegedly, according to this piece, is not very happy. There’s no confirmation at all on this.

“Like all new mums, and I’m told this I don’t know obviously, they like to go out and think ‘what is the best thing for my baby? What can I give it to give it the best start?’

“So I’m guessing there’s going to be lots of organic vegetables, we know Meghan is partly vegetarian and mainly vegan.

“We know she’s super fit and looks after herself.”

Mr Sean jokingly added: “Because if you read her site The Tig, I used to love reading those recipes and then going out and ordering a McDonalds you know, it was great.”

An insider told The Sun: “Meghan keeps pushing the boundaries with the Royals and it’s not being well-received, least of all by Her Majesty.

“Bringing up the baby as a vegan simply won’t be tolerated by the monarch.”

The plans are reportedly causing some tension between Meghan and Harry too.

The source said: “It’s created tense discussions between Meghan and Harry, who doesn’t want to upset his grandmother.”

Before marrying Prince Harry, Meghan said in an interview: “When I’m filming, I’m conscious of what I eat. I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends.”

The Duchess is rumoured to have used vegan paint for Archie’s nursery, and is often spotted shopping gin holistic boutiques. But she’s also inspired her husband to adopt a more planet-friendly lifestyle.

Prince Harry now reportedly enjoys “less meat, more fruit and veg” and practices yoga with his wife.

Meghan Markle is known to enjoy yoga, with her now-closed Instagram page full of pictures of her practising the exercise. Her mother, Doria Ragland, is also a yoga teacher.
