Princess Eugenie age: How old is Princess Eugenie? Who is older – Beatrice or Eugenie?
Princess Eugenie will be preparing for her big day as she weds Jack Brooksbank this week, but how old is she? Is Eugenie older than her sister Beatrice?
Princess Eugenie will marry wine merchant Jack Brooksbank this week, on Friday, October 12.
The ceremony will take place at St George’s Chapel, the same venue that saw Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle in May this year.
Eugenie has been with partner Jack for more than seven years, meeting him on a skiing trip to Switzerland.
They became engaged in January this year, with Jack asking permission to marry Eugenie from her father, Prince Andrew.
As the Queen’s granddaughter, Eugenie’s wedding will feature a reception held by the monarch in Windsor Castle.
The wedding will be a two-day affair, with guests invited back for the second day of celebrations.
Who is older – Beatrice or Eugenie?
One member of the royal family guaranteed to be in attendance will be Eugenie’s sister Princess Beatrice.
The two Princesses are often seen at royal engagements together, but who is older?
Princess Beatrice was born on August 8, 1988 – making her 30-years-old.
Eugenie is the younger sister as she was born on March 23, 1990 – making her 28.
Both royals were born at the prestigious Portland Hospital in London to parents Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew of York.
Portland hospital is a private maternity hospital on Great Portland Street who boast famous mothers like Patsy Kensit, Julie Walters and Victoria Beckham as previous patients.
Princess Beatrice as the elder sister is eighth in line to the throne, whilst Eugenie is ninth.
As Beatrice’s fashion has been a talking point at royal weddings in the past, royal fans will be eager to see what she wears to her sister’s nuptials.
At cousin Prince William’s wedding in 2011, Beatrice wore a unique hat which was compared to many things – from a toilet seat to a pretzel.
The hat was designed by Irish designer Philip Treacy and reached below Beatrice’s forehead and featured a large bow with cascading crafted ribbons.
For those wanting to see what Beatrice wears to her sister’s wedding on Friday, they can tune into ITV1.
This Morning at the Royal Wedding will be live from 10am on Friday, with hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
