PRINCESS BEATRICE could announce big news any day now as her engagement to boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is believed to be imminent. While Beatrice’s royal wedding plans do not have to be signed off by the Queen, her big day depends on her grandmother for this reason.
Princess Beatrice, 31, and her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have been inseparable ever since their relationship went public in March. The Princess is clearly smitten with Edo who has been introduced to the York family and attended events alongside Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew. With wedding bells believed to be on the horizon, Princess Bea will have to put this detail by the Queen before she announces plans for her big day.
Bets on Princess Beatrice getting married in 2020 have been suspended amid mounting speculation that she will announce an engagement very soon.
Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Apati said: “Odds are currently being suspended on a Princess Beatrice 2020 wedding.”

Royal commentator and editor in chief of Majesty magazine, Ingrid Seward, told Hello!: “They’re going to get married – I was told by a member of the family.
“I think a wedding as early as next spring or summer is likely.”
Princess Beatrice is ninth in line to the British throne and while she is not a senior royal, there are still some customs she is expected to stick to.
Ms Seward explained Beatrice’s wedding date will depend on when her grandmother the Queen is free to attend.

The monarch has a packed schedule of royal engagements which a family wedding would have to fit around.
Speaking about the York Family’s visit to the Queen in Balmoral this summer, Ms Seward said: “It’s possible they wanted to tell the Queen that Beatrice was engaged.
“They have to find a gap in her diary before they name the day and this would have been the ideal opportunity to discuss it.”

Bea is likely to follow in her sister’s footsteps and hold her royal wedding at St George’s Chapel, Windsor where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were also married in May 2018.
Bea and Edo have been swamped by wedding speculation ever since they first began dating.
Their whirlwind romance has led friends to expect marriage was on the cards for months.
A source told the Sun in November: “Beatrice and Edo have the same circle of friends and were introduced through a mutual chum. They hit it off instantly and have a real laugh together.”
They added: “They’ve been on holiday together and Beatrice introduced him to Fergie and her dad.
“Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time.”
