Prince William OPENED about Prince George and Princess Charlotte
Prince has revealed he is eager for his two young children to learn something very important.
The Duke of Cambridge, who is expecting his third child in April, said he is keen the royal youngsters learn how to swim, play tennis and enjoy football.
Prince William made the comments when he attended a Coach Core event with his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry yesterday.
The sports coaching apprenticeship scheme is supported by the Royal Foundation, which Wills, Kate and Harry are patrons for.
Speaking to people at the event, the proud dad revealed he hopes his kids are sporty and even invited a recently-trained coach to give George and Charlotte, aged four and two, swimming lessons.
Alex Ferrier, 22, said: “He offered me a job teaching his kids to swim.
“I said I might take him up on that!”
The Duchess of Cambridge also took the time to speak to Wimbledon champion Andy Murray’s mum, Judy.
The duo swapped tips on how to keep her children interested in sports.
Judy said afterwards: “We were talking about the things you can do with kids when they’re little to help them develop those core skills.
“They don’t need to be taught by a coach. Parents have got a big role to play in that. The Prince and the Duchess are very sporty so I’m sure they’ll be keen for their kids to enjoy sports as well.’
“We were talking about the things you can with balloons when kids are very small and that bean bags don’t roll. She’s been trying with the balloons and I was telling her to try bubbles as well.”
