PRINCE WILLIAM will one day take over the British throne – but the second in line has revealed his “fears” for the monarchy thanks to his brother Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle’s behaviour, a royal expert has revealed.
Prince William’s role as the eldest should be to protect his younger brother Prince Harry – but instead the second in line to the throne is said to have growing concerns about his sibling’s behaviour. Harry and Meghan Markle have faced backlash on multiple occasions for breaking royal protocol and doing things in a less traditional way than other royals. And, according to royal expert and editor of Majesty magazine Ingrid Seward, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’ attempts to move away from royal tradition might “bother” Prince William.
Appearing on Channel 5’s documentary William & Harry: Princes At War? Ingrid said: “I would think it might bother William a little bit, because he might see the way that Harry and Meghan do things as being detrimental to the business of the monarchy as a whole.”
Meghan and Harry recently jetted off in a private plane with their three-month-old son Archie Harrison, despite being vocal about doing more to tackle climate change.
Private jets usually carry fewer passenger than commercial planes, meaning they burn much more fuel per person per hour.

According to The Sun, the Sussexes have taken four trips on private jets in just 11 days, which would have left a carbon footprint of more than three tons.
In addition, the couple have received criticism over their privacy demands.

Speaking about Harry and Meghan “snubbing protocol”, Ms Seward said: “It wasn’t done in a very royal way, or the way we’d come to expect.
“But then Harry’s excuse was: ‘Well, I’m a private person.’
“But you cannot be royal and be sixth in line to the throne and be a private person.”
This sort of behaviour has led to Ms Seward suggesting Prince William might be “bothered” by the way his younger brother acts, potentially harming the monarchy.

There have been speculations a rift between the brothers has been going on for a while.
Earlier this year Prince Harry and Meghan made the controversial move to split from the royal foundation charity set up with William and his wife Kate Middleton.
The charitable organisation has been renamed the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge after having previously included the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The Royal Foundation said the decision was made following a review into its structure and added both couples will continue to work together in the future.
The charity said the decision was also taken to “better align” their charitable activities.

Royal expert Juliet Rieden said: “This is Prince Harry and Prince William going their separate way with their wives – they’re almost setting up two separate courts.
“It did surprise me because back in February 2018 we had that wonderful Fab 4 on stage, doing wonderful things. A whole brave new world for the Royal Family.
“We’d never seen this sort of presentation, it was almost like a brand presentation.
“We’ve never seen that sort of thing before so it felt like this was going to be the way forward.”
The Sussexes also moved away from their home at Kensington Palace, where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are based.
Meghan and Harry now live at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, where they spent millions of tax payers money on renovations.
