Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, one, were pleased to see their parents return from their royal duties in Cumbria earlier in the week.

William and Kate went to Cumbria to honour the contribution of individuals and local organisations in supporting communities and families across the region.

They met volunteers from a range of services, including community first responders, as well as young people who had trained as mental health first aiders and the local mountain rescue service.

Kate even showed off her adventurous side as she went to a local farm and tried sheep shearing.
