Prince Harry prediction: Princess Diana’s stunning foresight into son’s future exposed

PRINCE HARRY’s mother died when he was 12 years old – but Princess Diana said something about him before she died that is particularly poignant given the turbulent last year of his life.

Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals at the end of March, following a tough period in which they struggled to cope with public and press scrutiny. The Duke of Sussex said they had not taken the decision lightly but that they had “no other choice”. Just a couple of months before, they had both opened up about their struggles in the ITV documentary ‘Harry & Meghan: An African Journey’.

Meghan admitted it had been “hard” to cope as a new mother in the public eye, and Harry said there were stories that “hurt” him, while he also confirmed that he and his brother were “on different paths”.

The couple have now moved to Los Angeles, where Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland lives, with their one-year-old son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

However, according to author and editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, Ingrid Seward, Harry’s mother Diana said something about Harry that may have helped him in his journey.

Diana apparently said that Harry can “cope with anything”, which will be vital in settling into his new life separate from his family.

Ms Seward told the Daily Mail in 2019: “Diana told me William was very sensitive, and Harry was the artistic and lively one who could cope with anything.”

That said, the Princess of Wales also had a concern for Harry in that he lacked concentration and “flips from one thing to another”.

Her worry at the time was in terms of Harry’s education, but there are eerie parallels to his current situation.

Ms Seward said: “William was more academic than Harry, but he wasn’t finding Eton very easy at that time, although he had lovely friends there.

“[Diana] said Harry would go to Eton, otherwise he’d be singled out as being the one who wasn’t so bright, and she worried about his lack of concentration.

“She said, ‘Harry’s full of energy but he flips from one thing to another and then loses interest.’”

However, royal photographer Kent Gavin, who worked with the royal family for decades, appeared to agree with Diana’s initial assessment that Harry was less bothered by things than William.

In the 2013 Amazon Prime documentary ‘Royalty Up Close: The Photography of Kent Gavin’, he recalled William being very shy around cameras, but Harry had “not a care in the world”.

He said: “It was a difficult time when they were very young. I can recall that William was not happy.

“Harry, not a care in the world, just happy-go-lucky, but William had his head down, much the same as his mother did in the early days.”

Ironically, William and Harry appear to have switched places on this.

While the Duke of Cambridge seems to have grown into his role, and enjoys a distant, but cordial relationship with the press, Harry has increasingly struggled with the attention.

In his statement released in October 2019, Harry accused the media of “bullying” his wife Meghan.

He even related what they are going through to his mother Diana.

He wrote: “I’ve seen what happens when someone I love is commoditised to the point that they are no longer treated or seen as a real person.

“I lost my mother and now I watch my wife fall victim to the same powerful forces.”

Nevertheless, Diana was certain that Harry, as the less sensitive one in childhood, would be able to cope with whatever life threw at him.

He and Meghan have taken a brave step in leaving royal life, and are now working towards being financially independent.
