Prince Harry meets Meghan Markle’s mum in biggest sign of royal engagement yet
Prince Harry has dropped the biggest hint he is about to propose to Meghan Markle yet as he met with her mum at last night’s Invictus Games closing ceremony.
The besotted royal was spotted looking happier than ever with his other half as the event drew to a close in Toronto, Canada, on Saturday.
But he also made sure to put in some face time with Meghan’s mother Doria Radlan in the VIP box at the Air Canada Centre.
The Suits actress spent the whole evening in the box, while Harry was initially sat in the same seat as last week’s opening ceremony.
Meghan was joined by her mum and best friends Jessica Mulroney and Markus Anderson – who is believed to be the man who introduced her to the young royal.
Harry then met up with the group and took the time to get to know Ms Radlan, who had flown in from her home in Los Angeles.
Meghan’s mum was seen getting her groove on as Bruce Springsteen unleashed his classic hits, while Harry planted an affectionate kiss on his US girlfriend.
Ms Radlan’s presence is the latest in a series of signs confirming the serious nature of the couple’s relationship.
The closing ceremony was the third time Meghan has been seen with Harry in public, but the first time with her mother in tow.
The lovers made their first public appearance together during the wheelchair tennis finals on Monday, when they were pictured laughing and lovingly holding hands.
The actress, whose home is just miles away from the Games, has also been staying at Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York Hotel with the Prince for more than a week.
Last night’s ceremony is not believed to be the first time Ms Radlan has been introduced to Harry however, as she reportedly flew to London with her daughter to meet the Prince earlier this year.
With an royal engagement believed to be on the cards, Meghan revealed her love for Harry in a recent interview with Vanity Fair.
We’re two people who are really happy and in love
She said: “We’re two people who are really happy and in love.
“We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people’s perception.
“Nothing about me changed. I’m still the same person that I am, and I’ve never defined myself by my relationship.”
The couple visited Botswana together in August to celebrate Meghan’s birthday.
he US actress attended Pippa Middleton’s wedding reception with Harry earlier this year.
The Invictus Games was highly anticipated as the first time Meghan and Harry would appear together as a couple.
