PRINCE GEORGE will turn seven tomorrow and there is one sweet surprise doting mum Kate Middleton will have in store to mark his birthday.
Prince George will celebrate his seventh birthday on Wednesday, July 22, and while this year’s milestone is bound to be different due to the coronavirus crisis, he is expected to enjoy a special day with family.
Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, 38, and Prince William, 38, have been based in Norfolk at Anmer Hall with their three children since March.
Prince Louis turned two in April and Prince Charlotte had her fifth birthday in May, so Kate will be well-practised at celebrating her children’s birthdays at home by now.
While a birthday party might be off the cards for George on Wednesday, he is bound to have a few treats to look forward to.
One special surprise Kate will have prepared for George is a spectacular birthday cake.

Kate is a dab hand in the kitchen and has enjoyed cooking with her children during lockdown.
From homemade pasta to fresh pizzas and cakes the Duchess has previously opened up about George and Charlotte’s love of cooking.
Last year she told TV chef Mary Berry she loved staying up late to make her children’s birthday cakes.
Speaking on the BBC’s A Berry Royal Christmas programme, Kate revealed her passion for putting together her children’s bday treats.

The Duchess said: “I love making the cake.
“It’s become a bit of a tradition that I sort of stay up until midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing, I make far too much, but I love it.”
Prince George is known to be a huge football fan and supports Aston Villa like his dad Prince William so it could be Kate makes him a footie-themed cake this year.
Another royal birthday tradition Kate is expected to stick to is that of releasing new photos of George to mark his milestone.
Kate is a keen amateur photographer and has delighted royal fans with recent family pictures.
Prince William turned 38 on June 21 and Kate shared a series of gorgeous new portraits ahead of his birthday.
The new photos were up close and personal and showed William playing with the children in the garden at Anmer Hall.
Kate’s ability to capture Royal Family members at ease has been praised by royal watchers.

Following the release of Prince William’s birthday portrait, one royal expert revealed the advantages of Kate taking the family photos herself.
The Telegraph’s royal editor Camilla Tominey claimed that by taking the pictures herself, the Duchess has kept the paparazzi at bay.
Ms Tominey wrote: “Why would any newspapers or magazines want to run grainy long-lens images of the royals in private when they themselves are willing to serve up crystal clear Instagram-style shots?”
She added: “Of course there still is, and always will be, a place for experienced lensmen and women to capture the big royal moments.
“However, it has always been these more candid camera shots that the public has craved.
“…When it comes to seeing the ‘real’ royals behind their public personas, the Duchess is fast becoming the monarchy’s leading chronicler of modern royal life.”
