PRINCE GEORGE stunned Waitrose workers by carrying the deliveries into his home in Norfolk, it has emerged.

The young prince reportedly often greets the van with his father Prince William and they help supermarket staff unload the groceries into Anmer Hall, according to The Sun. Their helpful approach has been recognised and praised by Waitrose employees. An insider said: “It is rare for anyone to ever offer to carry deliveries inside.

“So the Waitrose delivery staff were surprised and delighted to be greeted regularly by Prince William and Prince George.

“George is always particularly helpful and is the one who asks each time what he can carry for them. He is a very inquisitive child.

“They give him lighter bags. It shows how down-to-earth William is and that he wants his son to grow up being polite and helpful to others.”

George’s mother Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge is often spotted shopping at Waitrose stores in between their scheduled deliveries.

William’s attitude towards his own children reflects that of his mother Diana who would often take her sons on the bus or tube rather than in royal private cars.

The family spend many weekends and holidays at their rural Norfolk home and often visit beaches nearby.

Anmer Hall lies close to the Queen’s country retreat in Sandringham.

Prince George is also reportedly a volcano and dinosaur fanatic and has a collection of miniature police cars.

He has been noted for questioning older members of the royal family.

He reportedly asked his uncle Prince Harry, “why are you so quiet?” when he was waiting to meet former US President Barack Obama.

Back in January this year, Prince George was spotted out and about in Berkshire with Princess Charlotte and his grandmother, Carole Middleton.

A dog walker saw the pair, with the Prince going on to stroke her dog.

Striking up conversation, she asked the royal what his name was – despite being very aware about who he was.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “To my astonishment, he said, ‘I’m called Archie’ with a big smile on his face.”

Meghan was around four months pregnant at the time, with some asking the question whether the family had been discussing baby names at the time.
