PRINCE GEORGE is the future King after his father, grandfather and great-grandmother before him. But what is one demand the young royal is insistent upon even at the tender age of six?
Prince George is the eldest of Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge’s three children. Prince George has warmed the hearts of royal watchers around the globe since his birth in 2013. Over the course of the last year, he has made more appearances in public including making figgy pudding with the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William, walking to church with his family on Christmas Day and watching a football match with his parents and sister.
Prince George is third in line to the British throne and is expected to one day become king.
He and his younger sister Princess Charlotte are often spotted playing together, while Prince Louis who is three years younger than his sister watches on.
The two eldest Cambridge children currently attend school together at Thomas’s London Day School in Battersea.
But according to Prince William, despite the children’s obvious close relationship, they clash on one thing: football.
Reportedly, Prince William revealed his children are extremely competitive when it comes to football.
Speaking to Hello magazine, 14-year-old Olivia Hancock who met Prince William at an event said: “So when I was chatting with Prince William he said to me when he plays football with George and Charlotte when Charlotte’s in goal George says to her that ‘Charlotte I’m better than you’.”
Prince William told Miss Hancock: “George, Charlotte could be as good as you.”

The two siblings also revealed their dedication to football during a family day out to watch Aston Villa in October.
Like his father, Prince George has emerged as an Aston Villa supporter, and in October he attended a match with his mother Kate, father William and sister Charlotte.
During the match, Prince George was shown to be extremely excited and often celebrating with glee at each of the five goals scored by the Birmingham side.
Now it appears that Prince George makes one football-related demand each and every day, but what exactly is the one thing the royal heir insists upon?

Frank Skinner has claimed that Prince George “insists” he and the Duke of Cambridge listen to his football song ‘Three Lions’ every morning.
The comedian, 62, from West Bromwich, recorded the song with David Baddiel and The Lightning Seeds in 1996.
Appearing on Lorraine this week, Mr Skinner revealed he counts the young royal as one of his biggest fans.
He told Lorraine, he had met Prince William at his Royal Variety performance in November.
Mr Skinner said: “‘I did the handshake and I was first in the line and he spoke to me for a few minutes.”
He added: “He said to me, ‘I listen to your football song every morning’, and I thought, ‘That’s got to be a lie’. Do they lie, the Royal Family?’
Upon hearing the news, Mr Skinner pressed the Duke of Cambridge for more information.
According to the comedian, Prince William said: “Yeah, George insists that we play it every morning.”
Mr Skinner added: “‘So I really wanted to say ‘Who?’, but I liked the idea of them rattling around wherever they live listening to it.”
He claimed while meeting Prince William prior to the show, the royal – who was ‘very nice’ – told him his son was a huge fan of the song, and asked to listen to it every day.

Mr Skinner also revealed he had been left embarrassed when he realised his shirt had been tucked out during the show.
He told Lorraine: ‘Well I knew nothing about this. I’ve been on tour and I did the Royal Variety in between shows.
“Then after it went out on telly, I went on stage and a woman shouted ‘Oh you’ve tucked your shirt in then’, and I thought that’s peculiar, so I investigated.
“I said to the guys I was touring with, ‘What did that mean?’ They said ‘Well we didn’t want to bring it up, but you were trending because your shirt was hanging out in front of the Royal Family.”
Football fan George was also though to have celebrated his sixth birthday with a football-themed party with everyone from his class.
Despite being born on July 22, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted Prince George’s birthday early to ensure his friends could come before the summer term ended.
The youngster posed for official birthday photographs in an England shirt after enjoying a football-themed celebration at Kensington Palace.
The family spent George’s actual birthday on the private Caribbean island, Mustique, as they did in 2018.
