Prince Charles and Camilla’s surprising sleeping arrangements revealed

Royal protocol dictates that they keep things prim and proper in public, but now what happens behind closed doors with Prince Charles and his wife Camilla has been unveiled.

The couple’s sleeping arrangements at their home in Clarence House in London have been revealed, and they’re not as conventional as you might expect.

According to an insider, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall split their time between three bedrooms.

They might put on a united show in public, but the couple prefers sleeping apart, reveals an insider.

“His Royal Highness has a room with a double bed, decorated to his own taste, then Camilla has her own room with a double bed, decorated just the way she likes it,” the Daily Mail reports the royal insider saying.

“In addition, they have a shared bedroom with a double bed that they can use whenever they like. The arrangement suits them perfectly.”

After tying the knot in 2005, the couple moved into their London residence, but it seems they’re just like everyone else when it comes to storage.

Despite Charles undertaking an extensive renovation in 2002 after the Queen Mother passed away and left the residence open for Charles to move in, wardrobe space is at a premium.

It might look palatial, but there’s a storage crisis at Clarence House.

According to the insider, Camilla’s love of fashion has seen she’s being forced to store her outfits in communal spaces – and covered by bedsheets as His Royal Highness does not approve of plastic in the house.

“There are now racks of dresses on the landing,” the insider told the publication.

Camilla and Charles tied the knot in 2005, and have been living in Clarence House since then.

Never fear though, when it all gets too much, the royals can always rely on their royal retreats.
