Pippa Middleton baby name: Has Pippa revealed the name of her baby boy?
PIPPA Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister, welcomed her first baby this week. Has she revealed the name?
Pippa Middleton, 35, welcomed a baby boy with husband James Matthews, 43, on Wednesday.
Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, was said to be “thrilled” for her little sister.
The healthy baby weighed in at 8lb and 9oz, born at 1.58pm on Monday, October 15 at the Lindo Wing, where Kate has also delivered all three of her children.
Pippa and James have yet to reveal the name of their new son but speculation is mounting over what they will choose.
According to Ladbrokes, the current joint favourites are Alexander and Thomas, with odds of 5/2.
Next up is Michael (3/1), Joseph (4/1), William (6/1), Frederick (6/1) and Oliver (8/1).
Michael was previously touted as the bookies’ favourite as it is the name of Kate and Pippa’s father.
Pippa is not a royal, so her new-born one won’t have a royal title.
The new dad was seen out and about for the first time on Thursday since his wife gave birth.
James was seen popping into the headquarters of his capital management firm in Mayfair, London, on Thursday morning.
James, CEO of Eden Rock Capital Management, is believed to have left his wife resting at home as he made a swift trip into the office on Thursday.
He was at his wife’s side when she delivered in the exclusive Lindo Wing.
The couple were seen arriving on Tuesday, after Pippa showed off her impressive bump at Princess Eugenie’s wedding last weekend.
Just three hours after being admitted, Pippa gave birth to their son.
The couple are believed to have left the hospital through a side door on Tuesday night.
They and returned to their £17million mansion in Chelsea, West London, with their newborn in tow.
Kensington Palace said in a statement: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are thrilled for Pippa and James.”
The little boy is the first cousin of Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, aged just five months old.
Pippa is said to be doing well after the birth.
A spokesman for the family said: “Everyone is delighted and mother and baby are doing well.”
