Meghan Markle and Harry’s Royal Wedding carriage? Royal horses in FIRST rehearsal

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding carriage may have been spotted today as preparations get underway ahead of the big day on May 19. As the world counts down the days until Prince Harry ties the knot with his American bride, Royal Mews horses were pictured taking part in a practice run outside Buckingham Palace Mews.

A procession took place around the grounds of the Palace, led by a horse-drawn carriage driven by two uniformed women wearing top hats, believed to be making their way to Windsor.

Around 100,000 people are expected to flock to Windsor in Berkshire on May 19 to catch a glimpse of the newly-wed couple.

And today members of the public caught a glimpse of what the big day could look like when dozens of horses took to the roads for their first rehearsal.

Kensington Palace and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead announced that preparations and decorations are well underway for the big day.

The marriage ceremony will begin at 12pm at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, Kensington Palace announced.

Following the service, the newlyweds will embark on a carriage procession along a route through the streets of the royal city.

Beginning at 1pm, the route will include Castle Hill, High Street, Sheet Street, Kings Road, Albert Road, Long Walk and finally Windsor Castle.

There will also be “food and facilities on the Long Walk,” along with 140 Royal Borough ambassadors assisting on the day.

People travelling to the city can either use the 6,000 pre-book car parking spaces at the Review Ground or take advantage of the extra trains being put on.
