Revealed: Prince Harry ‘fell in love’ with Meghan Markle for this reason, doctor claims
Prince Harry is said to be “madly in love” with his girlfriend of one year Meghan Markle – but what attracts the Royal to the American actress?
The glamorous actress has earned an army of fans for her effortless good looks and stellar performances in hit TV show Suits.
Prince Harry is said to have fallen under her spell while touring Canada to promote the Invictus Games in 2016.
Now the pair are rumoured to be “fast approaching” an engagement after Kensington Palace confirmed their relationship last November.
Although beauty is said to be in the eyes of the beholder, a cosmetic doctor has claimed his attraction is in large part due to mathematical calculations.
Dr Ifeoma Ejikeme claims Markel’s face effectively close to “perfect”, according to an ancient Greek mathematical equation.
The consultant physician at UCLH claims that her face is “almost identical” to the optimum profile most people find attractive.
The mathematical theory, known as Phi or the “golden ratio”, is an ancient Greek measure of beauty.
It is also used to determine the appeal of paintings and architecture – and Meghan’s face fits the bill.
Dr Ifeoma Ejikeme said: “In Meghan these ratios exist. First the rule of thirds. Here upper mid and lower face are roughly a third each.”
Her eyes would also have been desirable in the view of Greeks.
Dr Ifeoma Ejikeme added: “Her eyes are almond shaped with a mild lift in the lateral canthus.
“Her nose is roughly the same width as her chin in a neutral position and her upper lip is smaller than her lower lip with a ratio of roughly a third.”
Other celebrities – including Amber Heard, Kim Kardashian, Kate Moss and Emily Ratajkowski – are also said to match the Greek definition of beauty.
Rumours are swirling that Harry is set to pop the question – and present a ring made from Princess Diana’s jewels.
