MEGHAN MARKLE celebrated her 39th birthday yesterday and today saw more discussion on the Royal Family member, when the head of The Kingdom Choir, Karen Gibson, spoke out to Christine Lampard regarding what it was like to work with her in the lead up to her wedding to Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may have swapped London for Los Angeles earlier this year but it hasn’t stopped the public’s attention of the popular royal couple continuing. Earlier today, Karen Gibson revealed more about the pair’s wedding ceremony to ITV viewers on Lorraine and admitted the aspect of the wedding the pair remained “very particular” on.
The pair tied the knot back in the summer of 2018 in a memorable service at Windsor Castle.
One of the biggest talking points of the wedding was the couple’s wedding singers, London-based gospel group – The Kingdom Choir.
Karen – who led The Kingdom Choir through their arrangement for the big day – opened up on her time with the royal couple earlier on Lorraine today.
Speaking to sit-in host, Christine Lampard, Karen opened up on the reason why Meghan was “very particular” about her big day.

The guest was on the programme to speak about the choir’s charity single, to raise money for Shelter UK.
But it wasn’t long before Christine questioned her on what it was like to work closely with the Duchess of Sussex.
Karen explained the process, telling the host: “Yeah, well we got to meet Meghan and Prince Harry before the wedding and they were absolutely wonderful.
“We got to talk about the song and arrangement, which was very particular!”

She continued to praise the pair, adding: “They were wonderful.
“They were really down to earth, very approachable, friendly,” before divulging a secret about her time with the couple.
Karen confessed: “We heard a little bit of Prince Harry’s [singing] voice!
“We had such a fun time,” the choir leader added.
However, the guest also addressed the rumours surrounding Meghan’s character which continue to swirl.
“I have to say, I didn’t see the person that I hear some people are talking about,” revealed Karen.
“She was wonderful, they were both wonderful, and very much in love.”
“And about to get married and as couples do when they’re getting married, like things just – so they had a very particular vision for their day.”
Karen was asked whether she was nervous about the prospect of performing at the wedding ceremony, which was to be broadcasted across the world.
She admitted she wasn’t, noting: “There was such an air of anticipation, we were not nervous… we were ready!”
The choir performed Ben E King’s Stand by Me as well as other classics and Karen believed the pair had made the “right” choice with the song.
“I think that song was very special to them, they were completely right about the song and arrangement,” she concluded.
