Meghan Markle’s sister reveals what Prince Harry’s ‘future wife’ is REALLY like
Samantha Grant is Prince Harry’s future sister-in-law and she has dished on the Suits star’s hidden personality.
Meghan Markle’s sister Samantha Grant appeared on Good Morning Britain today to let slip what her little sister is really like.
Samantha, 52, is Meghan’s half-sister from her dad Thomas Markle’s first marriage, and said the public will be “surprised” by 36-year-old Meghan’s true nature if she marries Prince Harry and takes on a role in the royal family.
She said: “She’s very strong she’s very worldly and educated, graceful.
“I think she will absolutely be a compliment to her role and I think the public will be surprised by how graceful and lovely she is.”
And GMB host Richard Madeley asked whether Meghan – whose dad is Caucasian and mum is African-American – feels the weight of bringing a different ethnicity into the royal family on her shoulders?
“I think she is confident not only in herself as a woman but in her relationship with Prince Harry and it almost seems a non-issue,” Samantha said.
Although they have become estranged in recent years, she grew up with the future princess.
And she revealed what her personality is really like away from the cameras: “Even now she’s lively, very animated and charming.”
The mum of three who lives in Florida, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008 and is now wheelchair-bound because of the condition.
She recently launched a GoFundMe page for help raising $20,000 to buy a new wheelchair -accessible home but denies she has fallen out with her A-lister sibling.
“No matter what I don’t believe you can be a half-sister you’re either sisters or not and in my heart and reality we’re sisters and she’s lovely,” she said.
Samantha also revealed that she thinks she’s a perfect match for Prince Harry.
“Together she and Prince Harry can bring so much to their role in humanitarian efforts and I think the world will be surprised – they’re both incredible people with a lot to offer.”
When asked if she thinks she would be hurt by not being invited to their wedding , she said: “I don’t know if I would be hurt but out of love and respect I would go.”
Samantha is set to release a tell-all book spilling family secrets but wanted to set the record straight.
Samantha previously said: “Hollywood has changed her. I think her ambition is to become a princess.”
But this morning she admitted she feels she’s been misquoted about her sister.
“It is true that I’m writing a book and the title is accurate whats not true is the swell that’s been created that it’s a tell all.
“I will recount the beautiful nuances of our lives and family home and the inter-racial evolution of this country through my family and how this intersects with the recent events with my sister and how sad it was going through it all.
Samantha denied ever bad-mouthing her sister in the press and added: “I just have to say don’t believe what you say in tabloids if you didn’t see me say it then it’s not true.”
