MEGHAN Markle has been sporting a new hair style since giving birth to baby Archie, and a stylist has given an explanation into the reason why.
The Duchess of Sussex, known for her signature loose waves and messy bun, has taken on a new look of late. Her new sleek, pulled back bun has been worn on four public outings since the birth of her son Archie, who arrived on May 6. She was seen with the hairstyle at the Trooping the Colour in June, Archie’s christening, during Wimbledon and at the Lion King premiere all earlier this month.
She also sported a tight low ponytail during the Wimbledon women’s finals last weekend.
Celebrity hair stylist James Johnson said Meghan was undoubtedly suffering the normal hair issues of a new mother where hair starts to fall out after giving birth.
He said: “When you’re pregnant your hair cycle stops so you don’t shed any hair, so when you give birth, all the hair you should have lost in the nine months falls out over a quick period.
“Meghan may have opted for a scraped back bun to prevent her hair from further damage. If her hair was damaged during pregnancy, putting her hair up will prevent it from further damage.

“Also she was previously criticised for her ‘messy bun’ so maybe she’s trying to go for a more polished look to silence the haters.”
Meghan does her hair herself and the style is also an easy do to master.
Meghan has made just a handful of appearances since the birth of her son Archie.
She stunned at the Lion King premiere in London which she attended with Prince Harry on Sunday.
There she met Beyonce and Jay Z, as well as Elton John and Pharrell Williams.

When talking to Williams, the duchess admitted she was finding life in the royal family tough.
He said: “So happy for your union. Love is amazing. It’s wonderful. Don’t ever take that for granted but what it means in today’s climate, I just wanted to tell you it’s so significant for so many of us. Seriously. We cheer you guys on.” Meghan responded: “Thank you, they don’t make it easy.”
Jay Z had words of advice for Prince Harry as he takes on being a new father.
He said: “The best advice I can give you, always find some time for yourself.”
Beyonce described Archie as “so beautiful” and added “we love you guys”.
