Meghan Markle’s friend deletes previously unseen picture of Archie on Twitter

MEGHAN MARKLE’S friend has deleted a Tweet in support of the Duchess, which showed an unseen picture of her son, Archie.

Meghan Markle was publicly defended by TV and film director and friend Silver Tree this afternoon, sharing a supportive message alongside four images. But just hours after tweeting, she deleted the post, which included a never-before-seen picture of Meghan’s 22-month-old son Archie. The LA-based producer then re-shared the original message, with the Archie photo nowhere to be seen.

The second post included a different picture of Meghan with another child, presumably the daughter of Silver Tree.

The director wrote: “This is Meg. A real person- not a cover story.

“She is one of my very nearest and dearest. Like all her friends I love her madly.

“She is the friend who insists on always hearing the details of your life, your day, your kids life, your kids day, before hers. Always before hers.”

The first tweet shared by Silver Tree included an image of Meghan wearing a white and blue vertical striped blouse, with her hair swept back away from her face.

Archie is seen playing in front of her, wearing a matching blue and white striped shirt.

Two other children also featured in the photo.

Eagled-eyed social media users spotted the picture of Archie had gone from the post.

One person said: “Where’s the picture of the cute little red head boy gone??? Was a very cute pic of Archie?”

Another user wrote: “I wonder what happened to the other picture…”

A third person asked: “Why did you delete the photo of Archie?”

Other Meghan Markle fans thanked the film director for publicly supporting the Duchess.

One person wrote: “Please tell Duchess Meghan Meghan we love and support her. Love from Somerset, England xxx.”

A second user said: “I’m so grateful that she’s surrounded by genuine and compassionate friends in the midst of the storm of racism and sexism that she finds herself in.

“Much love to you and your sweet family.”

A third person said: “Loyal friends are the best!!”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will feature in a tell-all interview with US chat show host Oprah Winfrey this weekend.

The two-hour programme will first be aired at 8pm on CBS in the US on Sunday night.

ITV will then air the interview at 9pm on Monday night.
