Meghan Markle, who is set to marry Prince Harry in May, has apparently turned to the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla Parker Bowles to discuss any pre-wedding nerves she might have – much like she apparently did with Kate Middleton in the days leading up to her big day.

According to MailOnline, the pair has lots of things in common and share many similarities that could be discussed.

“They would have had much to talk about anyway as both are divorcees and, like Camilla, Meghan is most probably going to be transformed from a commoner into a royal duchess,” the report claimed.

According to the publication, Meghan admires the way Camilla uses her charisma and words to overcome public prejudice – and the Duchess is apparently able to guide Meghan with advice for public engagements and being a working member of the royal family.

“[Meghan] has always been a free spirit and when she felt strongly about something or just playful, she could tweet it or use her blog (The Tig). But that’s gone now. Harry told her what it would be like. Even so, it’s all happened so suddenly,” an insider revealed about Meghan’s new life.

Discussing Camilla’s role, a friend apparently added: “No one except Prince Charles has ever needed her in the Royal Family before.

“They’ve just accepted her. Now, at last, she feels wanted. It makes her very happy.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set marry on May 19 2018, with Kensington Palace confirming the royal wedding will take place at Windsor Castle.

The ceremony will reportedly begin at midday, with a Carriage Procession from St George’s Chapel through Windsor Town returning to Windsor castle along Long Walk beginning at 1pm.

A statement read: “The marriage of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle will take place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in May 2018.

Her Majesty The Queen has granted permission for the wedding to take place at the Chapel. The Royal Family will pay for the wedding.”

The Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth to royal baby number three in April, meaning she should be able to attend her brother-in-law’s big day.

It’s thought brother Prince William will take on the duty of best man, but nothing has been confirmed.
