MEGHAN MARKLE created a heartwarming birthday present for Prince Harry to remind him of the moment “they fell in love”.
The Duchess of Sussex recreated the couple’s 2016 Botswana trip by setting up a tent in their garden. She did this to remind the prince of the place where they fell for each other. Last year, when the couple were living at the recently refurbished Frogmore Cottage the Duchess of Sussex planned a surprise for Harry when he turned 35 on September 15.
Prince Harry found a campsite that was an exact replica of the one that they had shared during their time on safari in Botswana in 2016.
It is not known whether this campsite replication was built solely by Meghan or with the help of royal aides.
A royal source speaking to People claimed that Meghan set up a campsite in their garden to recreate the trip they took to Botswana that the couple went on after just two dates with each other.
The source said: “It’s a place that means so much to them.

“It means so much to Harry in particular.
“Meghan wanted to bring that happy place to him on his day so she set up a tent.
“Then she got sleeping bags, cooked dinner and recreated Botswana where they fell in love.”
In 2017 Prince Harry said after the couple were engaged that in Botswana they had “camped out with each other under the stars”.

They were granted access to the property through their mutual friend Oprah Winfrey.
Mr Perry’s eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom Tuscan-style villa sits on the top of a hill in the exclusive Beverly Ridge Estates guard-gated community.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their one-year-old son Archie have called the mansion home since moving to LA at the end of March.
The Duke and Duchess are currently working on a documentary series with Oprah, while Perry has partnered with Oprah’s OWN television channel in the past.

Speaking to the Daily Mail a source said: “Meghan and Harry have been extremely cautious to keep their base in LA under wraps.
“Their team helped them choose the location for their transition to Los Angeles wisely.
“Beverly Ridge has its own guarded gate and Tyler’s property has a gate of its own which is watched by their security team.
“Beverly Ridge is an excellent place to keep out of view.”
