PIERS MORGAN has come out to slam Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for their recent talk at JP Morgan.
The billionaire summit took place at the 1 hotel in Miami, where popstars like JLO rubbed shoulders with Greek shipping heirs and fat cat bankers. Although the Sussexes have not yet declared how much they were paid for the gig, it is thought to have been a hefty sum, and TV host Piers Morgan has condemned them for “profiting off’ Princess Diana’s death.
In his new column for the Daily Mail, Piers said: “Harry’s not the only person to ever lose a parent when he was young. It’s sadly happened to many millions of people, including me – my father died when I was one.”
“And there’s a big difference between talking about it to raise public awareness of grief-related mental health issues – and doing it privately for a big fat fee to a bunch of super-rich bankers, business tycoons, politicians, and celebrities.
“By commercially exploiting his mother’s death to make vast pots of money like this, Harry is surely behaving in exactly the same way he professes to despise from the media?
Twitter users took to the social media to agree with Piers and vent their own frustration at Megxit.

One said: “My son was 10 when his father passed way suddenly, he too walked after his dad’s coffin with me beside him. A few days later he went back to school and I went back to work to keep us. No comparison really, but we do not spend our lives going on about it. #Life”
Another replied “I used to assess patients for bereavement & mental health…those patients could barely get themselves out of bed & to the appointment, let alone get themselves to speak at a private billionaires club! It’s an insult to real sufferers.”
A third raged: “I really can’t understand what they’ve got to give. It’s insane to pay them that kind of money – they are actually ‘nobodies’ and Tony Blair is just as bad, they’re hypocrites all three of them”
A separate source revealed to Page Six that Harry discussed at length his mental health struggle in the speech, and how he had turned to therapy to deal with the trauma of losing his mother as a child.

They said: “He talked about how the events of his childhood affected him and that he has been talking to a mental health professional.”
“He does not want Meghan and their son Archie to go through what he did as a child.”
Harry and Meghan have said they moved to Canada for a more private life away from the British press, now they appear to be mingling with US media titans including CBS’s Gayle King, as they plan to launch their Sussex brand overseas.
Piers has also accused their “brazen hypocrisy” of knowing no bounds, after they were exposed for taking private jets, when they had begged social media users to save the planet.

“Now they’re free to do whatever they wish, they’ve shown their true environmental colours.”
“The Sussexes were flown to the JP Morgan forum in the firm’s lavish Gulfstream private plane, from the $11 million mansion in Vancouver they’ve been living in for the past few months as guests of a mysterious billionaire benefactor.”
“What has been JP Morgan’s contribution to saving the planet?
“The bank was recently revealed, by the Rainforest Action Network, to have invested $195 billion into fossil fuel companies in the past three years alone.

“They were by far the worst offenders on the banking list of shame, with Wells Fargo a distant second at $151 billion.”
Piers is not the only critic of the couple, as recently PR guru Mark Borkowski has come forward to slam the pair in a scathing new interview with the Daily Mail, as he questioned the company Meghan and Harry are choosing to keep.
He said: “This shows how difficult it is going to be. They’ve got to make a lot of money and they are going to slip up on the way.
“The worry is how many of these type of gigs are there going to be?

“For J P Morgan, it’s an extraordinary “get”. They clearly have the money to afford them, but Harry and Meghan need to avoid being perceived as tacky.”
Piers concluded his rant by predicting that the couple’s new life will ultimately end in humiliation and tears, as shown by previous royals like the Duchess of York, who tried exploiting her pain for status.
