MEGHAN Markle fans have leapt to the defence of the Duchess of Sussex after cruel trolls shamed for the way she held her baby Archie Harrison.
Loyal fans of the duchess urged critics to stop “mum-shaming” and leave the new mother alone after trolls said he looked like she was “uncomfortable” and about to drop the newborn. Critics were also quick to ask why Meghan Markle had not put a hat on her newborn son Archie Harrison after she was pictured cradling Archie at Billingbear Polo Club in Wokingham to watch her husband Prince Harry compete against brother Prince William in the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day. Following the backlash from Archie’s first public outing since he was born, royal fans leapt to the new mother’s defence urging them to “give her a break”.
One said: “Meghan Markle can hold a baby. She shouldn’t be mom-shamed for being different. Let her enjoy her mom time.”
Another said: “Very real new mum photo ,with so many ready to criticise she is probably aware all eyes on her.
“I think they are beside a tree so in shade and in one of the pictures a bottle of sunscreen ,lovely picture Meghan with your son.”
One hit back at the trolls, writing: “Give them a break please, Meghan and Harry have just had a baby and it’s a massive learning curve.”

“If she stayed in, you’d all be moaning she wasn’t like Kate. If she goes out, you moan she just wants attention. She doesn’t bring the baby, you’d say she wasn’t a good mum like Kate. She brings the baby, she’s bad for taking him in the sun. Get over yourselves.”
Another added: “Leave the poor woman alone! I wouldn’t want to be married to a royal for all the money in the world.
The duchess made a surprise appearance at the polo on Wednesday, cradling her baby son in her arms, with her sister-in-law Kate and her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
But the images quickly sparked criticism from fans who pointed out all the things they thought Meghan was doing wrong.

One troll said: “She doesn’t know how to hold her child, she is wrestling and uncomfortable, on the verge of dropping him.”
Another said: “Why can’t she hold the baby properly after two months? It looks weird. Clearly the nanny looks after him most of the time.”
And another Twitter troll posted: “Real moms cradle their babies tenderly, lovingly, but Meghan holds hers like it’s her meal ticket.
“Which, unfortunately, it is. Poor little Archie.”
One commented: “No hat? His head will go red in this sunshine..”
Another added: “Meghan doesn’t know how to carry her own baby! Such a shame.”
