Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal has released the first few images ahead of its launch next month and it looks just as mad as the prequel A Royal Romance.
The TV film is set to continue the tale of Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle – now played by Charlie Field and Tiffany Smith. The new movie drama will ‘pull back the curtain to reveal the untold joys and challenges of life inside the Royal Family during their pivotal first year of marriage.’
And it’ll show ‘how Harry and Meghan’s core values are put to the test as they try to find the balance between honouring Royal tradition and staying true to their beliefs.’
This time around, Lifetime have bagged real-life aristocrat Charles Shaughnessy, the fifth Baron Shaughnessy, who is set to make an appearance as Prince Charles.
‘Megan’ poses alongside ‘Kate Middleton, Prince George and Princess Charlotte’ in one of the spoiler pics, appearing to put to bed any rumours of a ‘royal rift.’ Meanwhile, another picture shows the royal couple having a good old natter with the ‘Queen.’
Jordan Whalen is set to play Prince William, with Laura Mitchell taking on the role of Kate Middleton, Maggie Sullivun as Queen Elizabeth II, Deborah Ramsay as Camilla Bowles, Keaton Eagle as Prince George and Jordana Zinger as Princess Charlotte.
Becoming Royal is the second film on the royal couple from Lifetime, following last year’s A Royal Romance which was shot in Vancouver, Canada. Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal airs 27 May on Lifetime in the US.
