MEGHAN MARKLE celebrates her 38th birthday today, and Prince Harry has given a touching tribute to his “amazing wife”.
Happy Birthday Meghan Markle! The Duchess of Sussex celebrates her 38th birthday today, her first as a mother. Her husband Prince Harry has added a touching tribute to his wife on Instagram, sharing a beautiful photo of the Duchess. The post begins: “Wishing HRH The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday.”
Then the message from Harry follows and reads: “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure! – Love, H”.
Editor in chief of British Vogue Edward Enniful commented his birthday wishes to Meghan under the SussexRoyal post writing: “Happy Birthday Meghan.”
Meghan guest-edited the September issue of British Vogue, and will have worked closely with Mr Enniful in doing so.
Jessica Mulroney, a close friend of Meghan’s also commented on the post writing: “Happy birthday beautiful.”

The photo of Meghan is from the Sussex’s tour of Tonga, as part of their tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand in October 2018.
Their tour of the Commonwealth came just as they announced they were expecting their first child.
Meghan was wearing a powder blue dress from designer Veronica Beard as the couple attended the unveiling of The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy on Friday, October 27.
Exact plans for Meghan’s birthday are unknown, but the Duchess previously dubbed the celebration “your own personal New Year.”
Writing about birthdays on her blog The Tig she said: “My mom has always said that birthdays are your own personal New Year.
“Your own chance to make resolutions just for yourself and what you prognosticate for your year ahead.”
She said that all she wished for was “More surprises, more adventure, more opportunities to grow, more days filled with giggles and cheeky jokes, more delicious meals, and more inspiration. Always more inspiration.”
No doubt she will be celebrating the day with her family, as this is the first birthday for the Duchess since becoming a mother.

Archie Harrison-Mountbatten Windsor was born on May 6, 2019, almost three months ago.
Harry celebrated Meghan’s 36th birthday by taking her on a romantic holiday to Botswana, however, the new mum will most likely prefer something low-key this year.
During their 2017 BBC interview to celebrate their engagement announcement, Harry told of their trip: “Then it was I think about three, maybe four weeks later [after their first date] that I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana, and we camped out with each other under the stars for five days.
Meghan has kept a low profile since her son’s birth, still on maternity leave, however recently attended the London premiere of the Lion King.
At the premiere, she met with cast members, including popstar Beyonce and Harry’s lifelong friend Elton John.

The Sussex’s have also been active on social media, calling for their followers to nominate a “Force for Change”, to highlight charities, people or causes impacting the world.
On their Instagram the post read: “Each month, we change the accounts we follow to highlight various causes, people or organisations doing amazing things for their communities and the world at large.
“Over the next few days please add your suggestions into the comments section: someone you look up to, the organisation doing amazing work that we should all be following, an account that inspires you to be and do better (or that simply makes you feel good), or the handle that brims with optimism for a brighter tomorrow.
“We will choose 15 accounts and follow them next Monday, as we spend the month of August acknowledging the Forces for Change in all of our lives.”
