MEGHAN MARKLE has been wished a happy birthday by a London bakery which released a previously unseen photo of the Duchess of Sussex visiting staff at the cake joint.
Prince Harry’s wife on Tuesday celebrated her 39th birthday in California with her husband and their nearly 15-month-old son Archie. Luminary Bakery posted a snap of Meghan on their Instagram page from the royal’s visit to their Camden address last year. The Duchess of Sussex can be seen smiling as she is handed an apron by a member of staff as she prepares to get stuck into some work in the kitchen.
Luminary Bakery posted a message wishing the mother-of-one a happy birthday and thanked her for supporting the initiative.
The business said to honour Meghan on her special day it was teaming up with the Campaign for Female Education, a charity supporting vulnerable young girls in Africa.
The message read: “Today we’re partnering with @camfed to celebrate #womenempoweringwomen and say a very #HappyBirthdayMeghan, who has championed the work of both our organisations!”
Luminary said one of its graduate bakers, who appears in the picture handing Meghan an apron, will join up with the Campaign’s staff to bake cakes “to honour the Duchess of Sussex’s birthday and celebrate all women through their beautiful bakes”.

The all-female company helps women who have been the victims of violence, abuse or homelessness get back into work.
Meghan was quick to get stuck into the work and was snapped giggling as she helped to decorate a giant cake.
Tuesday marks Meghan’s first birthday since stepping down as a senior royal earlier this year.
Last month it was reported that Meghan was planning on escaping Los Angeles to celebrate her milestone.
The Sussexes have been living in the city since March.
The family-of-three are renting an $18million mansion in the exclusive Beverly Ridge neighbourhood.
A source told The Daily Mail Meghan wanted to head to Montecito, outside of Santa Barbara, 100 miles from Los Angeles, to celebrate with pals.

But the source said the Duchess would make sure her celebrations are responsible, given the seriousness of the pandemic raging across California and the rest of the United States.
They said: “Whatever she ends up doing for her birthday, Meghan said it will be low-key.
“She said she doesn’t want to come across as being careless and irresponsible.”
