MEGHAN MARKLE and Prince Harry will always have a “problem” in keeping the life of their son Archie Harrison “private”, a royal expert has claimed.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have come under scrutiny from the media in recent months, notably over the way they have handled the birth of their new-born son, Archie Harrison. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to keep certain details around the birth of their son private and held Archie’s christening behind closed doors. But, speaking to Express.co.uk, Royal Expert Richard Fitzwilliams, has warned Meghan and Prince Harry will always have a “problem” in keeping the life of their son, who was born in May, private.
Mr Fitzwilliams claimed because of the grand scale of the Royal Family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would struggle to keep all aspects of their baby’s life private.
The Royal expert hinted Prince Harry and Meghan could have a similar “arrangement”, like with the children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, over the privacy of Archie.
He said: “It’s a real goldfish bowl. Any member of the Royal Family expects global interest.
“When you have Meghan, who is unique particularly with what she has to give, and given her background as a senior member of the Royal Family, you would expect the scale of interest, there is no doubt about it.

“Obviously, I don’t know what the Queen herself thinks, but there is no question that anyone who joins the Royal Family, as a senior member, and it is the world’s most high profile Royal Family, the interest is nothing short of phenomenal, and always will be.”
He added: “This is the problem regarding Archie, so to speak, as a ‘private citizen’, obviously, he must be given the chance, as William and Harry had, and those were in the days of the paparazzi – as George, Charlotte and Louis, the same sort of arrangements, that for some access, and we had wonderful photos at the polo, for example, you get privacy. That is absolutely essential.
“There is no question I think in the future Archie will be wonderfully placed himself to be someone who has a tremendous amount to give in the charitable field.
“Obviously we don’t know what he will be doing, and we don’t know what their plans for him are. Also, there is a lot we still have to learn, as far as patronages are concerned and so far as trips abroad are concerned.

“But, it is perfectly obvious what issues they are concentrating on, and it is also obvious of the importance of these.”
Meghan and Prince Harry’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor, is seventh in line to the British throne.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex faced real scrutiny from the media after their decision to keep the details surrounding the birth of their son Archie private from the press, with not only the christening ceremony behind closed doors, but the identities of Archie godparents were kept a secret too.
A statement from Buckingham Palace about Archie’s christening read: “Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor will be christened in a small private ceremony by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday, July 6.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex look forward to sharing some images taken on the day by photographer Chris Allerton. The godparents, keeping with their wishes, will remain private.”

The Duchess of Sussex then last week sparked fury among some after she guest-edited British Vogue’s September edition.
Meghan chose to use the edition to feature prominent female role models, including former First Lady Michelle Obama and New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
Speaking about the project, Meghan said: “These last seven months have been a rewarding process, curating and collaborating with Edward Enninful, British Vogue’s editor-in-chief, to take the year’s most-read fashion issue and steer its focus to the values, causes and people making impact in the world today.
“Through this lens, I hope you’ll feel the strength of the collective in the diverse selection of women chosen for the cover as well as the team of support I called upon within the issue to help bring this to light. I hope readers feel as inspired as I do, by the forces for change they’ll find within these pages.”
On Sunday the Duchess of Sussex celebrated her 38th birthday, and husband Prince Harry has added a touching tribute to his wife on Instagram, sharing a beautiful photo of the Duchess. The post begins: “Wishing HRH The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday.”
Then the message from Harry follows and reads: “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure! – Love, H”.
