Meghan claimed in her and Harry’s Oprah Winfrey interview, which aired last month, that they secretly wed three days earlier.
The former actress told the US talk show host: “You know, three days before our wedding, we got married.
“No one knows that.
“We called the Archbishop and we just said, ‘Look, this thing, this spectacle is for the world but we want our union between us’.
“So, like, the vows that we have framed in our room are just the two of us in our backyard with the Archbishop of Canterbury.”
Harry added: “Just the three of us.”
However, it later emerged this was in fact an informal exchange of vows.
The Sussexes plunged the Royal Family into crisis with their tell-all TV interview.

Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, have signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify as they launch new careers outside of the Royal Family.
