Duchess of Cambridge spoke about her youngest son during a visit yesterday
Kate, 37, revealed one-year-old Louis keeps her and William ‘on their toes’
Added Louis climbed to the top of a slide – hinting the toddler might be walking
The Duchess of Cambridge revealed her son Prince Louis is already a handful – and hinted the boisterous one-year-old is walking.
Mother-of-three Kate, 37, spoke about her youngest child during an outing to Bletchley Park, Buckinghamshire, on Tuesday afternoon.
Speaking to former Bletchley Park worker Georgina Rose, Kate admitted Louis is keeping her and William ‘on their toes’.
Mrs Rose, who was a Teleprinter Operator during the Second World War, offered Kate her ‘congratulations’ on her ‘beautiful family’, to which Kate revealed that little Louis, one, is proving a handful.
The Duchess replied: ‘Thank you so much. Louis is keeping us on our toes. I turned around the other day and he was at the top of the slide – I had no idea!’
The comment suggests Prince Louis, who celebrated his first birthday last month, might now be walking.
The Duchess of Cambridge previously revealed that the toddler was moving around with the help of a walker.
Speaking to parents at a London community centre in March, Kate revealed Louis was ‘cruising’ – when a child pulls themselves up and uses furniture to move around.
She told one mother named Kriti: ‘Louis just wants to pull himself up all the time. He has got these little walkers and is bombing around in them.’
Kriti, who was there with her son Kameron, later added: ‘She [the Duchess of Cambridge] took one look at Kameron and said, “Oh he wants to go walkies.”
Apparently her son is cruising and she said she was running after him all the time.’
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also parents to Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, four.
The couple finally met their new nephew Archie in Windsor yesterday, although their children did not join.
