KATE MIDDLETON, 37, and Prince William, 36, are the parents of three children. While raising a family and completing royal duties may be a struggle, Kate has a trick to ensure she gets the best for her kids.
Kate Middleton: Motherhood keeping her ‘sane’ says author
Kate Middleton and Prince William first met at university and later married at a Westminster Abbey in April 2011. They royal couple have since had three children, Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, 11-months. The Duchess of Cambridge seems happy for her children to take up any interests they like, and she may have a simple trick to inspire and encourage them to do so. This could be down to one parenting technique the Duchess of Cambridge might have picked up when reading her favourite parenting book.
Kate Middleton: The Duchess uses this simple parenting trick
Kate Middleton reportedly sent a fan letter to the anonymous author of the parenting book, The Modern Mother’s Handbook: How To Raise A Happy, Healthy, Smart, Disciplined and Interesting Child, Starting From Birth.
It is no surprise the book then quickly became a hit and some royal fans have delved into it to find out what Kate might be doing with her kids.
Although some might expect the life of a royal child to be strictly mapped out, Kate seems to take on a different approach and encourages her children to do whatever interests them.
A tip in the book encourages parents to expose their children to as many fun and different experiences as possible.
Prince George reportedly loves planes so this is something the Duchess of Cambridge makes sure to encourage.

At Trooping the Colours in 2016, Kate was spotted getting down to eye level with Prince George and they both watched the planes go by.
The Duchess broke away from formal etiquette and encouraged George in his hobby by sharing in his excitement.
This is something Kate has been known to do with Princess Charlotte as well.
After meeting Kate, Equestrian triple-gold medalist Natasha Baker told the Mirror what the Duchess said about her daughter’s hobby.
“She emphasised that Charlotte has this passion about horses and although she doesn’t echo it, she’ll do her best to champion and encourage it,” Natasha said.

Even though Kate does not enjoy doing the same thing as her daughter, she still encourages it in order to help her kids find what they like to do best.
With Prince Louis about to turn one, Kate will likely already be encouraging him to find what he is interested in.
If Kate is to follow the advice in the parenting book, there could be another trick she uses to ensure her children are always calm and happy in public.
The book recommends parents talk in a “calm-ish, reasoned and understandable tone” to keep their little ones under control.
Kate is often spotted speaking softly to her children which could be why they stay so well-behaved.
It is believed Kate and William also use a simple trick to empower their children.
Speaking to The Sunday Times, Anne Hathaway, who has a son, Jonathan, now three, explained she had read reports about how the royals ensure they lower their body when speaking to children – including their own.
“They get down on the child’s level and speak to them eye to eye to make their child feel empowered,” the 36-year-old told the publication.
