KATE, DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE, is “under pressure” to save the Royal Family, but what one thing could she do to bring some positivity to the royals?
Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, is the wife and mother of two future Kings. But could she welcome another baby into the Royal Family in 2020 amid the royal chaos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to step back from royal duties? The Cambridge couple currently has three children but could well add another to their brood in 2020 according to bookmakers. The Royal Family has essentially lost three members in the past two months: Prince Harry, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Andrew. But will Duchess Kate welcome a fourth baby in 2020 in a bid to distract the public from the continued turbulence for the monarchy?
In her Christmas message, the Queen discussed themes of friendship and reconciliation, acknowledging it had been a “quite bumpy” year for both the monarchy and the nation.
In 2019, Prince Philip crashed his car and voluntarily gave up his driving licence, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle faced backlash amid a private jet scandal and Prince Andrew stepped down from royal duties following public outrage regarding his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Given the age of the Queen and the difficulties the royals have faced in the past year, 2020 is thought to be a year of “big change” for the royals.
Speaking on Heirpod podcast, royal expert Omid Scobie said the royals will be required to “put in a lot more work” in 2020.

The podcast, released following the news that the Duke of York was stepping down, discussed how Prince Andrew’s resignation would impact the other royals and the future of the monarchy.
Royal experts Mr Scobie and Victoria Arbiter said Kate will be required to “do more” in the future.
Mr Scobie said: “It’s great, she is a mother, she has three kids, she has a very busy plate as it is, but to see her taking on even more is needed because as the Queen steps back, the younger royals having to step forward and put in a lot more work.”
Ms Arbiter added: “Kate is quite fortunate she had their children when she did because she’s been able to be hands-on with them at home.
“But the schedule needs to start building now, as she offers her support to the Queen as well.
“2020 is going to get a lot busier for all of them, as we see with Prince Andrew out of the mix now.”

Ms Arbiter added: “We’ve just lost one member of the Royal Family technically and, already, the workload increases for everyone else.”
On Wednesday, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry announced their plans to resign from their senior roles and work to become financially independent.
The bombshell statement sent shockwaves across the globe and particularly among the Royal Family which reportedly “hurt” the Queen and “outraged” Prince Charles and Prince William.
A senior source told the Sun: “A senior source said: “Their statement was not cleared with anyone. It breaks all protocol. This is a declaration of war on the family.
“There is fury over how they’ve done this without any thought for the implications for the institution.
“The Queen is deeply upset. The Prince of Wales and Duke of Cambridge are incandescent with rage.
“Courtiers can’t believe it. There are so many unanswered questions but they’ve just up and done it without a thought for anyone else.
“The plan was there to discuss it and work out a way that works for everyone in the family.”
Now in the wake of the Sussex announcement, the pressure is likely to mount for the Cambridge couple.
In the Heirpod podcast, Ms Arbiter said: “2020 will be a big year of adjustment, change and adapting with the Queen being older.
“So everyone needs to start raising the game a little bit.”
But could Kate really have a baby in 2020?

Ahead of the news of the split, royal expert Katie Nichols said Meghan and Kate were under pressure to team up to save the monarchy.
Speaking to Closer, Ms Nichols said: “I think after a festive break, both Kate and Meghan will know that joint ventures to support the queen are not only part of their duty, but also good for the public image.
“Kate knows the pressure is on her and Meghan to save the royal family, to an extent.”
According to bookmaker Ladbrokes, Kate may undertake an attempt to save the British Royal Family by announcing a pregnancy in 2020.
The odds of her announcing a pregnancy this year have slashed from 2/1 odds to just 5/4 this week.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The Royal Family needs a good news story following Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down from their senior roles, and we reckon it could well come in the form of Kate who is now 5/4 to announce a pregnancy this year.”
These odds were also backed up by two astrologers who are convinced both Meghan and Kate will add new additions to their families in the next year.
According to the Daily Mirror, the families will be boosted in 2020.
They told the Mirror: “If she falls pregnant again, this will be an important child and will change Kate’s outlook where she establishes herself as the nation’s ultimate mother.”
