Kate Middleton Is Like Her Mom Carole In This Sense, Expert Says
Kate Middleton is a dutiful royal.
On Monday, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out for Prince Louis’ christening. It was the first time that Prince William and Middleton were spotted with their three children. According to a royal expert, Middleton was leading the event.
“She has blossomed and looked more confident, beaming with happiness,” Ingrid Seward said (via Daily Express).
“Kate is hugely dutiful, but she is quite strong and leading the way behind the scenes,” Seward continued. “Kate is hugely dutiful, but she is quite strong and leading the way behind the scenes.”
A source close to the palace also believed that the event was Middleton’s influence. She’s also convinced that the duchess is helping with building good relations within the family.
“I’m sure this is all Catherine’s influence,” the insider said. “I’m sure she is leading on building all the family relations.”
A day after Prince Louis’ christening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out together of the Royal Force Army centenary celebration. They joined Queen Elizabeth II, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince Charles, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the other senior royals for the celebration.
Initially, Middleton’s attendance at the event wasn’t expected as she’s still on maternity leave. In fact, when Emily Nash, a royal correspondent for Hello! mentioned the event on social media, she said that it would be a big royal outing but didn’t mention Middleton’s name.
“BIG royal outing: The Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla, William, Harry, Meghan, Andrew, Edward, Sophie and Edward will attend a service at Westminster Abbey to mark the centenary of the Royal Air Force on July 10, ahead of #HarryandMeghan’s visit to Dublin,” Nash wrote on Twitter.
During the event, Middleton was photographed smiling as she watched her in-laws Camilla struggling to help button Prince Charles’ gloves. Later on, the royals stood on the balcony of the Queen’s London residence to view a flypast of up to 100 RAF aircraft. There was also a parade of more than 1,000 personal and a feu de joie.
While the royals were waiting for the national anthem to play, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, was caught on camera jumping off and startled by a gun salute. Fortunately, she quickly regained her composure for the opening bars of “God Save The Queen.”
