KATE, Duchess of Cambridge, joked about Prince William’s love for Aston Villa during a conference call with Scottish tennis champion Sir Andy Murray.
Kate joked about her husband’s deep-rooted love for Aston Villa during a video chat with Murray and young tennis players from Bond Primary School in South London. The Duchess of Cambridge led the conference call by introducing Murray asking the children about their training, life during lockdown and aspirations.
The conversation also touched upon other sports when Kate asked Murray if he is a fan of football.
The tennis champion turned to the children and asked them what is their favourite football team.
Two of the most outspoken youngsters eagerly spoke about their preferences, with one naming Chelsea FC and the other mentioning Tottenham Hotspur FC.
Laughing, Murray highlighted the “big rivalry” between the two London team.
