Kate and William: Will Kate and William spend Christmas with the Middletons this year?
CHRISTMAS is fast approaching and as December has arrived, royal fans are eager to find out where Kate and Prince William will spend the happy holidays. Read below to find out.
Will Kate and William spend Christmas with the Middletons this year?
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at Sandringham House in Norfolk with the royal family, including the Queen and Prince Charles. However, the Cambridges will reportedly make time for both families this year.
A royal source told BAZAAR.com the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will spend the days following Christmas Day with Kate’s family.
The Middletons will be welcoming Kate, Prince William and children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in their home in Bucklebury, Berkshire on December 26.
It was first reported the Cambridges would spend Christmas Day as well with the Middleton family following the rumoured row with Prince Harry and Meghan.
The royal family traditionally always spends Christmas and New Year at Sandringham House.
But a royal insider insist the two brothers and their wives would join the royal family at Sandringham for the festive period this year as well.
The source told the Daily Mail: “Reports regarding Christmas are wrong. Everyone is in Norfolk this year.”
Another insider also told the Sun: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will spend Christmas with the Royal Family in Norfolk.
“Harry and Meghan will be there with the Queen and Prince Philip.”
This comes after Prince Harry and Meghan announced they will be leaving Kensington Palace to move 20 miles away to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
And ever since the move was confirmed in November, rumours have emerged the decision was made due to tension between the royal power couples.
A royal source told Vanity Fair Meghan and Kate are doing what they can to get along, despite being “very different people.”
The tension is said to be between brothers Prince William and Prince Harry.
The source said: “Kate and Meghan are very different people and they don’t have a lot in common but they have made an effort to get along. Any issues are between the brothers.”
However, the reason for the tension between the royal brothers is rumoured to be because Prince Harry does not think Prince William has done enough to welcome Meghan into the family.
The fallout is said to have started last Christmas.
And a year later it looks like the “Fab Four” may try to solve any issues they are having during the stay at Sandringham House over Christmas.
