Harry must do THIS with Meghan Markle to make their marriage LAST as the baby arrives

PRINCE Harry will have to “take care” of his wife Meghan Markle after the birth of their first baby if he wants their marriage to last, a relationship expert has said.

The joy of the arrival of their newborn and the amount of attention required by a baby can easily shift love and care from partner to the child.

And this sometimes creates an irreparable rift between husband and wife and can lead to the end of the marriage, according to relationship expert Jazz Bjelica.

Despite the whirlwind of emotions and the changes the Royal Baby will bring into their lives, the royal couple will need to keep each other in mind or face damning consequences.

Even though newborns asks for tonnes of your attention, care and time, please don’t forget you are still a husband and a wife

But Prince Harry in particular will have to walk the extra mile to make sure his union with Meghan remains as solid as it is now.

Ms Bjelica told Express.co.uk: “One of the key things to keep a solid marriage when you become parents is keep paying attention to your partner.

“Even though newborns asks for tonnes of your attention, care and time, please don’t forget you are still a husband and a wife.

“No matter how small your baby is, remember to create alone time with your partner.

“Since a newborn biologically needs more attention from the mum in the first few months, the dad’s role is to take care of the partner.

“Later, responsibilities are more equally divided.”

While the lack of attention is a deal-breaker, the length of the union does not determine how solid a marriage is and if the couple is ready to face a child, Ms Bjelica added.

She explained: “Time doesn’t reflect on the solidity of their relationship.

“It’s far more about the depth of their relationships, closeness and maturity of both as individuals and their relationship, as well as what external support they have.
“Both Meghan and Harry went through a lot in the past, as individuals and as a couple, and all of that took place under the public eye.

“Considering that, they will probably handle this new beautiful adventure in their lives quite well.”
