First family outing! Duchess Catherine steps out with Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte

The doting new mother-of-three enjoyed a sweet day out with her two youngest kids.

It’s been three weeks since Duchess Catherine and Prince William welcomed their son Prince Louis Arthur Charles into the world.

And as we countdown to Kate’s first official appearance this weekend at the Royal Wedding, the 36-year-old has been enjoying family time with her brood in London.

On Tuesday, Vanity Fair’s royal reporter Katie Nicholl spotted the Duchess of Cambridge enjoying a walk around Kensington Gardens in London with Prince Louis in his pram and Princess Charlotte on foot.

A dressed-down Duchess Catherine kept a low-profile in a brown gingham dress she’s worn on previous occasions, pumps and black sunglasses.

Kate’s usually princess-perfect locks were without her world famous blow-dry.

According to Vanity Fair, the royal trio were accompanied by the family’s super-nanny Maria Borrallo and three protection officers.

Soaking up the British spring sunshine, Kate and the kids enjoyed an energetic stroll around the lush grounds.

In fact, the outing proved so much fun for three-year-old Princess Charlotte that she was rather hesitant when Kate suggested it was home time.

The report says when Catherine started to leave the park, her daughter strutted off in the opposite direction before the 36-year-old told her: “No come this way Charlotte!”

After Kate asked her to come in the right direction, the cheeky royal followed her mum and wandered home.

Over the years, Kate and the kids have often been spotted strolling around the public grounds of Kensington Palace which are outside their 1A apartment.

Duchess Catherine will step out in an official capacity this Saturday May 19th for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. It marks the first official outing since welcoming Prince Louis on April 23rd.

While the newborn is far too young to attend the wedding, it’s believed Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte will have starring roles in the bridal party.

It’s believed the next time we’ll see Prince Louis will be at his christening, which will likely happen in the coming months.

Meanwhile Princess Charlotte has taken to being a big sister like a pro.

“Charlotte is just like him. They have a great bond, and a similar connection is growing between Charlotte and Louis,” a source recently told US Weekly.

“Charlotte is really enjoying having a younger brother to play with. She’s taking her big sister duties very seriously. She won’t leave baby Louis’ side.”
