PRINCESS CHARLOTTE was looking at her grandfather Michael when she stuck her tongue out in an adorable video.

The Duchess of Cambridge pointed to her dad Michael to relax the children before taking their places on the prize giving stage at the King’s Cup regatta. Charlotte then immediately jumped into a striking pose as she stuck out her tongue, much to the amusement of photographers and her mum.

The Duchess bent down to kiss the youngster on the cheek before breaking down in laughter as the royal party were escorted into their places.

But the Duchess of Cambridge was praised by parents after the incident for her fantastic handling of a potentially awkward situation.

Many commented below the video, uploaded to InStyle Magazine, after the sweet clip went viral.

One user posted: “Kate blows my mind with her grace here! She is so beautiful.”

While another added: “Kids are the equaliser. It doesn’t matter who you are. Movie star, doctor, athlete, or royal, kids don’t care and it’s their world and they’re going to do what they do.”

Praise was heaped upon the youngster for showing her character, offering a small insight into the fun and playful relationship she has with her family.

One royal fan commented: “She’s just a kid. Classic behaviour for her age. Leave her alone.”

Comparisons were also made between the sassy Princess and her older uncle Prince Harry, who famously stuck his tongue out of a car window in 1987.

One fan said: “She has her dad’s and grandmother Diana’s sense of humour”, with another adding “How brilliant! Gets it from her uncle”.

The young Princess loves the attention of the cameras as she is seen regularly waving to members of the public.

Her confidence spilled over last year where she told a photographer he was not coming to Prince Louis christening in a hilarious slam to Britain’s press.

The young royals were treated to a fun day out as both their parents competed in the regatta.

Prince William finished ahead of his wife in the race which was eventually won by adventure hero Bear Grylls.

The event raised £1million for the Cambridge’s favourite charities, but there was more excitement to be had for the youngsters.

The children were later spotted on a boat with grandfather Michael, before entertaining Kate’s mum Carole as both continued to pull silly faces for the photographers

But they both had a special time later in the day as they went on a boat ride with their parents.
