Cute! We have a clip of Meghan Markle reacting to her wedding dress
It was the wedding of the year (or maybe even decade) and so the dress at the centre of it was always going to be a big deal.
The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was an extra-special occasion for royal-watchers.
We all had front row seats as one of the Britain’s best-known bachelors and the modern face of a centuries-old institution married an ordinary girl from the other side of the world who grew up to be an actress.
What she would she wear as she said her vows mattered big time and so everyone had an opinion when Meghan first stepped out of the car at St George’s chapel on the big day in May.
But what did Meghan herself make of that boatneck Givenchy dress that she helped to design?
Well, it looks like we may soon find out in a new documentary.
ITV has been given access to the royal family for a film about the Commonwealth and their role in it.
In a teaser trailer released today, we see Meghan looking at her wedding dress and chatting about it.
The documentary will be the first time we see Meghan being interviewed since getting married.
In the very brief clip, Meghan touches her veil and remarks, “53 countries, oh my goodness. It’ll keep us busy!”
It’s a reference to the fact that the flowers of all 53 of the Commonwealth countries were included in her veil.
Some people think that the clip was captured the day before the royal wedding because in it, Meghan is wearing the same navy Roland Mouret dress that she wore when she was photographed with her mum Doria as she went into the hotel the evening before she got married.
We’re not too sure about that but we do know we’ll definitely be watching the documentary, which airs at 9.15pm on ITV 1 next Tuesday.
