Labour MP mocks Prince Harry’s military record and calls Philip ‘unfaithful’ in royal rant
A Labour MP has questioned Prince Harry’s military record in Afghanistan and accused Prince Philip of cheating on the Queen.
Emma Dent Coad, 62, the MP for the Royals in Kensington, launched a rant on both Prince Harry and Philip at the Labour Party conference in Brighton.
The MP started her slew of lies by stating that Prince Harry is unable to fly an Apache helicopter.
She said: “Harry can’t actually fly a helicopter.
“He tried to pass the helicopter exam about four times and he couldn’t get through it at all so he always goes for the co-pilot.
“So he just sits there going ‘vroom vroom’.”
This statement flies in the face of the Prince’s demonstrable military record that saw him serve in the Army for ten years, obtain the rank of Captain and put his life at risk during two tours of Afghanistan.
The Royal was habitually pictured in the cockpit of Apache helicopters in which he was a qualified pilot, meaning he was adept in the use of the vehicles weapons as well as being able to take control of the helicopter solo.
The Kensington MP soon brought the royal brother, Prince William into her web of lies.
She claimed the pair are “not very bright” and that the public should “just let them drift away, be playboys or whatever”.
Prince Philip was next on the Labour MP’s hit list.
Ms Coad said: “The Queen might want to step back when her soulmate is gone.
“He’s been quite unfaithful for quite a few years.”
Ms Coad took on the role of Kensington MP in June.
These royal slurs come in the midst of Prince Harry hosting the Invictus Games, an event where wounded servicemen compete in track and field events.
It was at this event that the Prince made his first appearance with girlfriend Meghan Markle.
The Kensington MP is no stranger to making audacious comments with a prior comment comparing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to the Kardashians.
This is the latest in a series of controversies surrounding the Labour Party conference in Brighton that resulted in run-ins with Brighton and Hove City Council due to anti-Semitism claims.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is expected to send off the annual conference with a speech that will declare that a General Election is imminent thanks to the Tories “self-interested Brexit bungling”.
