CAMILLA, Duchess of Cornwall, “struggles” with a certain type of thing around Christmas, her son has revealed.
Tom Parker Bowles shared memories of the festive period with the New York Post. He made numerous confessions about what his mother is really like during the holiday season. One of his fond memories is seeing his mother in a dressing gown early on Christmas morning “kicking” a mammoth bird into the home’s oven.
He said: “She and my aunt Annabel would struggle to get it in.
“Despite the occasional kitchen mishap, my mother was an excellent chef.
“Before she married my stepfather [Prince Charles], she was always in charge of the cooking.”
“There’s something magical and lovely about British food at Christmas.

“It’s comforting, and perfect for entertaining on cold winter days.”
Although Tom doesn’t spend as much time with his mother at Christmas due to her commitments, he does get to see her in the evening.
Camilla now spends the day with Charles and his mother the Queen.
They spend it in Sandringham, Norfolk.

Tom and his family all meet up in London before his mum visits.
He recalled: “We usually go up to her house from London and she cooks us scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
“She makes a huge pot with lots of butter and they’re perfect.”
Previously, Meghan Markle sent a young fan wild after she responded to a letter from the Royal Family aficionado.

Miss Anderson shared the letter from Buckingham Palace with her followers on Instagram.
The letter was signed by the palace’s head of general correspondence Cluaida Spens, The Sun reports.
Within the letter, it was revealed Meghan “appreciated the words of support”.
The youngster didn’t explain what message she had originally sent to Meghan.
All Becca would say was “if you can’t tell, I love Duchess Meghan.”
She added: “So thoughtful to send a response.”
The letter said: “The Duchess of Sussex has asked me to thank you for your thoughtful card.
“It was so kind of you to take the trouble to write as you did.
“Her Royal Highness appreciated your generous words of support and has asked me to send you warmest thanks and best wishes.”
It comes after Meghan came under fire from Stefanie Powers.
Ms Powers is a Hollywood actress and friend of Prince Charles.
The actress claimed the Duchess has tried to turn the Royal Family into her own personal TV show, ‘Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous’ and ’The Adventures of Meghan in the Palace’.
