Kate, 37, appeared to break from royal protocol with the double-cheek kiss at the Chelsea Flower Show. But according to royal expert Daniela Elser the fact she was allowed to do it meant “a breathtakingly big tick of approval”. Since the pictures emerged, royal fans have been debating over whether Kate threw royal tradition out the window by planting a smacker on the 93-year-old or if she was given permission to do so beforehand.
